Loved! This is a fast paced thriller that fans of the genre will love. This is a great story and could have been pulled from tomorrow’s front page. While this has a bit of science fiction, it feels disturbingly possible and kept me turning pages just as quickly as possible. Sherlock and Savich insert themselves after Savich helps a neighbor with an urgent problem. Unfortunately, Savich’s being there put him right in the orbit of a cop that hates him and is out to make his life hell, through any means necessary – even at the risk of community safety. These odd circumstances seem unrelated, but with Max’s help (super computer), Sherlock and Savich strive to makes sense of things and solve the crimes. Fans of the genre will love this book. While this is part of a series, this is a stand alone novel. Additionally, while it is book 21 in the series, this feels just as fresh and engaging as book 1 in the series. The author is on my must read authors’ list.

It’s been a long while since I’ve read a thriller that didn’t have an ounce of romance in it. Well, technically, this does have just a tad bit of romance, but it’s a story of special agents that are working on two different cases. It is fast paced, well written, deeply intelligent without bogging the reader down with complicated details and extremely entertaining and engaging. Once I started it was hard to stop for things like work and sleep. I couldn’t read it fast enough. I enjoyed every word and the multiple epilogues were perfect!
